First Round of Classes Start September
Birth has become somewhat of a mystery today. Mom and Dad leave home or enter into the hospital and are escorted to a room with closed doors while children and family wait. They return with a precious new baby all wrapped up and clean for everyone to see. All joy in the new life before them and everyone is grateful for the new addition to the family.
Where does this leave future generations though? The natural consequence is that we grow up knowing nothing about the birthing process. Therefore, when it is time for us to begin having children of our own, we find we are rather helpless and confused on what to expect and how to prepare. Studies show that women who prepare by taking a Childbirth Class before labor/birth (no matter the method) have a greater chance of having a natural birth and a reduced chance of interventions during the birthing process.
This 12 week series of classes will have you and your partner feeling prepared for the inevitable and amazing labor and birth of your child. Check out the Childbirth Education section to read more about what these classes offer.

Congratulations!!!
Congratulations to a beautiful mother & family and their new baby boy, born 7/9/2014 at 12:11am (20 1/2" long, 13 1/4" head) in the warmth of their home with a wonderful midwife!
What a beautiful birth to witness and what an incredibly strong mother.
